5-Day Samburu & Ol Pejeta Safari Adventure
Cross the Equator into Northern Kenya — rare wildlife at Samburu and rhino conservation at Ol Pejeta, in a less-crowded, conservation-focused circuit.
Samburu National Reserve · Ol Pejeta Conservancy
A northern Kenya circuit for travelers who want something less crowded than the mainstream parks, with a strong conservation focus. Samburu’s semi-arid landscape holds wildlife found nowhere else in Kenya, while Ol Pejeta pairs Big Five game viewing with genuine rhino and chimpanzee conservation work.
Why this route
Samburu and Ol Pejeta (in Laikipia) are two distinct ecosystems rarely combined with the busier southern circuits, giving a more exclusive feel and strong odds of seeing both predators and endangered species on the same trip. Ol Pejeta in particular is home to the last two northern white rhinos left in the world, alongside a large black rhino sanctuary and a chimpanzee sanctuary — making this route a good fit for travelers who want their safari to have a conservation angle, not just game viewing.
