For honeymooners with limited days but high expectations, this circuit covers Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and the Masai Mara in seven days — less time on the road, more time on safari, with a strong mix of romance, scenery and Big Five encounters. A good introduction to luxury safari for couples not extending on to the coast.

It pairs Amboseli’s iconic Kilimanjaro backdrop with the Mara’s Big Five game viewing, and works in the same private touches — bush dinners, sundowners, an optional hot air balloon sunrise — that suit a honeymoon rather than a standard circuit.
Day by day
Day 1 — Nairobi to Amboseli. Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi, then a road transfer to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch at the camp/lodge, followed by a planned afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 2 — Exploring Amboseli. Rise early to catch the magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro before cloud obscures its summit. After breakfast, a morning game drive in the park, then back to camp for lunch and rest before an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 3 — Amboseli to Lake Naivasha. After an early breakfast, check out and head to Lake Naivasha. On arrival, a hot lunch at the camp/lodge, followed by a boat ride for birdwatching and sightings of hippos. An optional visit to Crescent Island offers a guided walking safari among giraffe, zebra, impala, Grant’s gazelle, common waterbuck and buffalo. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 4 — Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara. After breakfast, depart Naivasha for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, where all the wildebeest action takes place. Lunch on arrival, then a late-afternoon game drive, followed by dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 5 & 6 — Exploring the Masai Mara. After breakfast, spend two full days exploring the reserve and watching large mammals such as buffalo, impala, zebra, gazelle and more. You may also choose to take a hot air balloon ride at additional cost. All meals and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 7 — Masai Mara to Nairobi. Breakfast, then the drive back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at the airport or your Nairobi hotel.
